A Mediterranean jewel in the midst of the Middle East

The elegant Bulgari Resort & Residences Dubai opened its doors in December 2017 and in keeping with the brand’s jewellery pieces, the resort epitomises luxury.

Located on the private manmade island of Jumeira Bay, it is the latest addition to Bulgari’s luxe hospitality collection.

Carved into the shape of a seahorse, Jumeira Bay offers guests an exclusive urban oasis easily accessible to the central Dubai coastline by a 300m adjoining bridge.

With a private marina, the Bulgari Resort is home to the world’s first Bulgari Marina and Yacht Club which hopes to recreate the charm of a Mediterranean atmosphere in Dubai. Overlooking the 50-boat harbour the club has its own Italian restaurant, kids group and offers panoramic sea views.

There is also the exclusive beach club La Spiaggia, consisting of a private beach and mosaic-design swimming pool for guests to enjoy at the resort, along with a 1,700 square-metre extensive Spa and fitness centre.

The low-rise Bulgari Resort stands out for all the right reasons amongst the many skyscrapers of Dubai, and is said to be inspired by a upmarket Mediterranean village. It is the work of Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, a Milan-based architectural firm, who have designed all previous Bulgari Hotels and Resorts.

Cutting no corners, the resort is full of sumptuous furnishings and rare raw materials, such as green onyx from Iran and Mongolian black granite. Displays of heritage Bulgari pieces are also featured throughout the resort.

All 101 hotel rooms and suites are decked in designer touches with handcrafted Italian furniture, modern marble bathrooms, walk-in wardrobes and spacious private balconies overlooking either the marina, Dubai skyline or ocean. The 20 Bulgari villas are even more beautiful with private pools, outdoor terraces and a butler service.
