3 Dubai Hotels set to launch in 2017

Travel and tourism in UAE is blooming, and the country is maintaining its reputation as a popular choice for corporate events, with the opening of 59 hotels planned in 2017. Event planners are also increasingly under pressure to offer higher levels of luxury, exclusivity and inclusiveness than the next, all very important to the MICE market, which the Jewel of the Desert attracts.

Dubai is famed for its shopping, dining, and entertainment offerings, and the opening of the Dubai Canal promises more to enjoy than ever before; event planners are looking for the best hotels in the hottest locations. Here, we look at three hotels set to open their doors in 2017:

Bulgari Resort and Residences

Set to launch in 2017, Bulgari’s fifth luxury, stylish hotel is situated on Jumeirah Bay Island, off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Road. The 1.7 million square foot complex will feature 100 rooms and suites, plus 20 residential villas, and guests will benefit from a full range of luxury amenities. The resort will be framed by lush, landscaped gardens, and will even feature its own marina.

Viceroy Dubai

Dubai’s first Viceroy hotel will open on Palm Jumeirah in 2017. Boasting state-of-the-art architecture and innovative design, the hotel will feature 477 rooms and suites, all offering awe-inspiring views of the Arabian Gulf. There will be a range of services and amenities, including several spectacular dining options, hosted by world-class chefs; a beach club; a modern spa; and a 100-metre long swimming pool. The hotel is family friendly, with a range of children’s clubs, entertainment, and sporting facilities.

Venu Bluewaters Island Hotel

Part of the Jumeirah Group, the Venu Bluewaters Island Hotel is due to open in 2017. Sitting on Bluewaters Island, a manmade entertainment island in the middle of the city, the resort will feature a hotel with 300 rooms and suites; serviced, luxury apartments; and several shopping and dining venues. Designed with a modern twist, the hotel will be ‘clean, contemporary, cool and effortless’.
